Local  Support

Alivio Medical Center

​

A multi site community clinic that provides bilingual, bicultural cost effective health care to the latino community. Alivio has partnered with various schools (Little Village Lawndale High School Campus, Jose Clemente Orozco Elementary, and Benito Juarez Community Academy) to provide onsite care particularly Behavioral and Mental Health Specialists. 

Pilsen Wellness Center

 

Provides a Mental Health Crisis Care program if you or a loved one is experiencing a mental health crisis.

Screening, Assessment and Support Services

 

A statewide crisis program for children and youth. SASS provides intensive mental health services for children and youth who may need hospitalization for mental health care. SASS will also provide crisis intervention, linkage and coordination of services to other community based mental health agencies for aftercare and outpatient treatment.

National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)

 

Chicago has a hotline to support people access mental health services locally. 


The helpline can be reached at 833-NAMI CHI (833-626-4244) and is open to take calls from 9a-8p Monday-Friday, and 9a-5p on weekends.
